• Policy Statement: We are dedicated to reducing our carbon footprint and demonstrating a strong commitment to the environment through sustainable practices across our operations.

• Goals and Targets:

  • Recycled Paper Usage: Use Forest Stewardship Council (‘FSC’) certified paper and products whenever possible to minimise our impact on virgin materials. Implement procurement policies that prioritise FSC certified paper options for essential printing needs.

  • LED Lighting Implementation: Ensure all lighting in our buildings is energy-efficient LED lighting. Conduct audits and replace outdated fixtures with LED alternatives where feasible to reduce energy consumption and our carbon footprint.

  • Building Insulation: Ensure all buildings are properly insulated to reduce energy consumption for heating and cooling, thereby reducing our carbon footprint. Invest in insulation upgrades and maintain optimal insulation levels.

  • QR Codes for Information Sharing: Offer QR codes as an alternative to printed leaflets to reduce paper waste and the carbon footprint associated with printing and distribution.

  • Sustainable Merchandise: Ensure all promotional merchandise is made from recycled and/or sustainable materials. Transition to suppliers offering eco-friendly options and educate staff and clients on responsible consumption.

  • Office Materials Recycling: Establish a comprehensive recycling program for used office materials. Implement recycling bins and provide staff training on proper recycling practices to reduce waste and emissions from landfill.

  • Desktop Computer Policy: Ensure all desktop computer users turn off their computers at the end of the day to save energy and reduce our carbon footprint.

  • Employee Travel: Implement a cycle to work scheme; encourage car sharing where possible and encourage the use of public transport to encourage greener commuting options among staff, reducing emissions from vehicle use.

  • Solar Panels Installation: Consider the installation of solar panels at our offices to generate our own green power and reduce reliance on non-renewable energy sources, thereby cutting our carbon footprint.

  • Printing Policy: Implement a 'think before you print' policy to reduce unnecessary printing and paper use, cutting emissions related to paper production and waste.

  • Green Energy Supplier: Switch our energy supplier to a green energy supplier or tariff to support renewable energy sources and reduce our carbon footprint.

  • Electric Office Van: Invest in an electric office van to reduce carbon emissions associated with transportation.

  • Eco Boilers: Replace all boilers with ultra-efficient green eco boilers to improve energy efficiency in our buildings and reduce our carbon footprint.

  • Energy Efficient Appliances: Replace all kitchen appliances with A+++ rated appliances to ensure the highest level of energy efficiency and lower our carbon footprint.

  • Green Suppliers: Prioritise suppliers with green credentials over those without, to support environmentally responsible businesses and reduce our supply chain emissions.

All of our directors have had mental health first aider training to provide immediate support and foster a supportive workplace environment.
